A strong science background and construction experience gives him the skill and understanding needed to conduct inspections and access indoor environmental problems.
With regard to building investigation, Steve’s approach is from the perspective of Building Science. Although microbial testing is offered, an understanding of the conditions that created the problem, its source and the transport mechanisms involved is crucial to understanding the dynamics of the problem.
Moisture intrusion, heating and ventilation systems, and building construction practices and protocols are all brought together to give a complete picture of the environment.
This knowledge is critical for prescribing remediation and solutions to the conditions. Sustaining the health of the occupant and the environment is always considered.
